During my time on the project one of my goals was to help create a new meta system to encourage daily player engagement.
Based on the theme we designed a souvenir collection system to appeal to explorer player types, which we the majority of our players.
We designed the new feature to fit with in our existing game UI.
Based on the initial mockup we created mockups for all the different states the user would see and all edge cases they could encounter.
Once fully designed and vetted by the team we began to create high fidelity mockups to begin implementation and get a better picture of how the final implementation would look.
We continued to tweak the UI once in game opting to simplify the design whenever possible. The image below is the final released version.
